Grundfos India was established in March 1998.

What began as a liaison office for Grundfos Gulf Distribution
in Mumbai in 1997, Grundfos India has expanded by leaps
and bounds with a Head office, Warehouse and Service-cum-
Training centre in Chennai and 10 regional offices at Mumbai,
Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin, Pune,
Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Vizag.

Starting in 1998 with 4 employees and 4 distri-butors,
Grundfos India in 2005 has manpower of 90 and operates
with about 70 Distributors and Dealers. Grundfos India has
seen impressive growth from a small turnover of Rs. 50
million in 1999, to a modest turnover of Rs. 518 million in
2004. Grundfos India is also responsible for sales of Grundfos
products in Bhutan, Bangladesh & Maldives.

In March 2005, Grundfos India inaugurated a new facility with
a well-equipped corporate office, training, production, testing,
and extensive ware-housing facilities in Chennai.

Grundfos India is a part of an international company with
global presence. The Grundfos Group is characterised by
progress and innovation, but the values remain constant. In
their shortest form they make up the slogan: Be responsible
– think ahead – innovate.

These values and ideals are reflected not only in the pumps
and pump systems produced, but also in the relation with
